The following positions offer the opportunity to work on (or in some cases support)
the design, documentation and construction administration of significant and complex
structures around the world, including museums, concert halls, entertainment, retail,
housing, and mixed use.

Gehry Partners, LLP is currently seeking Senior Project Architects/Designers to work in the Los Angeles office who have strong experience in and sound working knowledge of the detailing and design of custom architectural exterior enclosure systems, roofing systems, and waterproofing; in the preparation of construction documents; in in-house quality assurance; and in construction administration on large and complex projects. Experience should include design, detailing, specification, shop drawing and mock-up review, and site observation of custom architectural building systems as well as detailing and coordination of CDs, including drawings and specifications. |

Demonstrated experience should include developing and maintaining clear and effective communication between architects and consultants, and providing solid support to consultants in their use of 3D modeling and integration, and should also include effective supervision of and leadership for teams of up to 6-8 junior architects. |

Develop detailed drawings of architectural designs. Produce necessary documentation to support cost estimations. Responsible for detailing, mock-up reviews, 3D visualization, and CD coordination and other architectural designer duties and tasks.
Requirements: Master’s degree or equivalent in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Architectural Design or related field, plus one (1) year of architectural design or related experience, creating design concepts and 3D visualizations; building physical models; and preparing architectural and construction documents (e.g., project plans, schematics, prototypes/drawings, specifications, etc.), using AutoCAD and 3D modeling systems and/or software.
